Harry, I’m glad we can do this on e-mail now. It was getting difficult for me to read your handwriting ;) I would like to try to keep our conversations to some order just so…
Harry (the Street Preacher) and I have officially moved to e-mail for our correspondence. Lots coming. Thanks again Nathan for your quick response. I do appreciate your response and your love and devotion to love others…
Harry, Thank-you for your response. I read your letter and I was a bit disappointed that you felt the need to compile biblical references. Not that references are bad, but rather I am trying to…
Below is the second response from the street preacher. I think by this point he’s getting a bit scattered and not able to articulate what he needs to say. What I do find most interesting…
I was happy to get a letter from Harry. To be honest, I’m disappointed at the inability of Christian leaders to carry on a conversation, be criticized and defend their beliefs in public. Generally the consensus from…
The earliest I can remember the Street Preacher downtown Sarnia was back around Halloween of 2011. We were having a pirate themed Murder Mystery Party at theStory and some friends dressed as pirates came running…
Over the last six months or so, our beautiful downtown Sarnia has been inhabited with a Street Preacher (the whole soapbox and everything) and an entourage of Street Preacher Disciples of a range of ages handing out…
It seems that the church has created only two kinds of people. Leaders and followers. Leaders are people that produce content and then followers are those that consume that content. Leaders are usually on staff,…
We are making our way through Acts at a fairly good pace and we are seeing how the gospel is starting to make its way to the ends of the earth. We are starting to…
So this morning we are finishing up Acts 11. Because it’s fairly short and there isn’t too much exegetical work that I am going to do, we are going to take some time and try…

We all met 15 minutes before sunrise at the local beach. We had a big campfire roaring as people showed up. After the liturgy we went back to our space and had a pancake breakfast….
Here is our Good Friday Liturgy from 2012. Each section was read by a different member of our community including children from gr. 5 and up. The Resurrection Sunday liturgy can be found here. [Introduction] Before we…
One of things that I have grown to realize about people, is that they don’t change. One of the things that I have grown to realize about myself is that I don’t change either. Another…
So we are still in the book of Acts, we’ve been here since October and we are only still in chapter eight. As we go through Acts we are starting to see the story unfold…
“One of the major themes throughout Luke-Acts is the universalization of the gospel — that it is for all people from the last, least and lost to the first, most and found. This is a…
Troy and I had the opportunity to go with the FMCIC to the Ghana Mission this past month. The FMCIC is coaching and working with some Ghana pastors and giving them the tools necessary to…
Rachel and I went to Costa Rica with our friends Brandon and Beth Huybers. This was strictly a vacation. Couldn’t have picked a better place that was friendly to tourists but still wrapped in adventure…
