Louis CK is my favourite comedian on a number of levels. His rants are unforgettable and face into some of the most ridiculous parts of our culture. His TV show is excellent as well. This clip is from one of his stand up routines and was recently highlighted from the Webby awards where he won person of the year. This clip is only a minute in a half and he successfully describes the mass separation between what we believe and the way we act. It’s about seeing a soldier on a plane and sitting in first class and feeling like he should give him the seat but never actually doing it.

This is totally one of his best bits ever. Stated beliefs vs. lived beliefs is such an interesting and frightening reality.
I’d be interested to know whether anyone has been inspired by this to offer their seat to a soldier.
