I like John Stewart. I watched this about 3 months ago, then Dave e-mailed it to me again today, I had to link to it. They asked John Stewart what politician gives him the most material, while he’s on Crossfire a show he beleives aids the politicians, not the people. His answer:
“The absurdity of the system provides us the best material, and that is best served by the theatre of it all, which by the way, thank-you both.”
I beleive the younger guy on the show who was freaking out a bit got fired after this episode and now the show is completely shut down. Jordon Cooper left this comment on this post “Tucker Carlson was fired after the show. A top CNN exec actually said, “I agreed with Jon Stewart”. Now Carlson’s show is called Tucker and is on MSNBC and it isn’t that good.”

Thanks nathan. This was great and i love Stewart as well as Stephen Colbert.
Personally I can’t stand either Stewart or Colbert. As someone who follows politics closely I don’t like gross oversimplifications that either guy uses in order to make the situation funny. Perhaps this type of misrepresentation could be called libel, or at least it should.
Personally I think that Canada’s Rick Mercer is far more funny and manages to maintain journalistic integrity most of the time.
