My good friend and roomate Nathan Shurr has started up his own set of daily links on his blog. Something I’ll be definitely keeping an eye on because he usually points me to some great and unique links on the net.

There is a documetry coming out on HBO of Hurricane Katrina by Spike Lee called When the Levees Broke. I’m really looking forward to eventually seeing this. Here is a good post on the documentry.

Linked from Jonny Baker, here is SimSweatshop. Get a feel for those that work in sweat shops all day long, usually 12 hour shifts for around 6 dollars a day.

Here are a few stories of students that cheated in Bible classes in Bible College/School. I remember failing a class once at Tyndale for ‘plagarizing’ and it was because it was a class that wasn’t worth a grade and me or my roomate never went to it because it was such a waste of time. We were supposed to write up summaries of what the skits were about throughout the year, and of course either of us not going to them worked together to manipulate other people’s work on our floor. But apparently our work was too similiar. Our punishment? I had to write an entire paper on Blue Like Jazz (this was the depth of this class). We brought in Donald Miller twice now since then though, so maybe it was worth it for Tyndale.
