Today marks the official launch of The Daily Scribe. It’s a collection of the ‘best religious blogs on the planet.’ With feature blogs and specific posts from all different kinds of walks of faith whether it is Christian, Judaism, paganism, Hindu, Muslim, Buddhism and whatever else shows up within the standards of the community. This was started up by Shawn Anthony, and I think it is a awesome idea that I look forward to being part of.
I think this is going to be a great resource for those that want to read some good stuff on other religions and not just their own from their perspective and not a textbook. The entire site reminds me a lot of my school experience at York bringing all kinds of traditions together where we can learn from each other all sorts of neat things.
So add The Daily Scribe to your RSS Feeder or your favourites and keep up to date on it, several posts get added a day and it is all organized quite nice with the different traditions in their own categories. There are some great bloggers on board to, some you may have heard of and some you may have not.
